It is common knowledge that Stalker: Call of Pripyat offers a DirectX 11 rendering path. PC Games Hardware shows where the new API is used to increase either the fps or the visual quality. Due to DirectX 11 Stalker: Call of Pripyat offers Hardware Tessellation (delivering more detailed NPCs) and Contact Hardened Shadows. Besides that the DirectX 11 graphics look just like the DirectX 10 version. PCGamesHardware

The Vapor-X model of card is rather new, with Sapphire having just unveiled it with ATI's second-to-last generation, the 3000 series. With it, Sapphire has three obvious goals. The first is to deliver a card that not only runs quieter than reference design, but much cooler as well. The latter leads into the third benefit, improved overclocking-abilities. We first took a look at a Vapor-X card earlier this year, and were left very impressed with all three aspects. TechGage

According to a bill of materials (BOM) analysis by Brian Marshall of BroadPoint AmTech, the cost of goods inside Apple's 16GB Wi-Fi-only iPad totals $270.50. That figure includes a $10 line item dedicated to manufacturing, but doesn't include another $20 set aside for under-warranty service costs. Adding the latter makes Marshall's bottom-line total $290.50.

The codenamed Thuban series of processors are hex cores processors of 45nm process. We understand that it will have a 95W TDP. Some information we gathered showed that some models can be up to 125W which we can’t confirm. The accompanying chipsets would be available as early as Apr 2010. We expect it to be the AMD 890FX discrete chipset (with SB850).
